Malarone Paediatric Tablets (for Children under 40kg)

Directions

The dose for Malarone Paediatric Tablets is according to body weight and shown below:
Weight 11 - 20kg = 1 tablet daily
Weight 21 - 30kg = 2 tablets daily taken as a single dose
Weight 31 - 40kg = 3 tablets daily taken as a single dose.

Guidelines

Take one or two days before travelling, during and for seven days on return from malarious area.
They should be taken at the same time each day with food or a milky drink.
The tablets can be crushed if necessary just before being taken and mixed with food.
If your child is sick within one hour of taking the tablet a repeat dose should be given.
