Flomax Relief MR Capules. One a day. Effectively relieves: frequent night-time urinating, Urge to urinate every few hours, Weak flow and feeling of unfinished urinating.  It acts as a gentle relaxant making it easier to pee and allowing the bladder to empty more completely. Flomax Relief reduces the number of trips to the toilet. To make sure Flomax Relief is suitable for your problem please read the points below.

If you are using Flomax Relief for the first time, return to your pharmacy after 2 weeks treatment. Then see your doctor within 6 weeks of starting treatment to confirm that your symptoms are due to BPH (Benign prostatic hyperplasia). Don't continue treatment at this stage without discussing with your doctor as you may be delaying the diagnosis of something more serious.

If symptoms are not improved after 2 weeks or the medication is causing side effects then discontinue and discuss your symptoms wtith your doctor.

Important: Pharmacy supply of Flomax Relief is for those men who have established urinary symptoms of BPH without any warning symptoms of a serious underlying condition.

1. Only for men aged between 45 and 75 years. If you are under 45 or over 75 please discuss your symptoms with your doctor.

2. Not suitable for men who have had prostate surgery. Please discuss your symptoms with your doctor.

3. Not suitable for diabetics whose diabetes is unstable. Please discuss your symptoms with your doctor.

4. Suitable for men who have been already diagnosed as having an enlarged prostate but are not taking medication for it. Please discuss your symptoms with your doctor if you are already taking medication for your enlarged prostate.

5. Only suitable for men who have had urinary symptoms for more than three months. Please discuss your symptoms with your doctor if you have had the symptoms for less than 3 months to rule out the possibility of urinary tract infection.

6. Please see your doctor if you have either:

pain on urination (peeing), blood in the urine (pee) in the last 3 months, Cloudy urine in the last 3 months, If you have a fever at the moment, or if you have leaking of the urine (incontinence).

7. Please see your doctor if you have either:

Any problems with your liver, kidneys, heart, or if you have fainting or dizziness or weakness when you stand up, If you have any eye operation planned, or any blurred or cloudy vision that has not been examined by a doctor or optician.

8. Don't take Flomax if you are allergic to Tamsulosin or had a bad reaction to it.

9. Don' take Flomax if you also take doxazosin, indoramin, prazosin, terazosin or verapamil.

10. Flomax Relief is for men who regularly have incomplete emptying of the bladder, regular trips to the toilet to urinate, stopping and starting, urgent urination, weak stream, straining on urination and frequent night time trips to the toilet.

11. If the symptoms get worse or change or any problems develop with the medication please see your doctor.

Take ONE capsule DAILY after the same meal each day. Swallow the capsule whole with water. Do not chew or crunch the capsule.
